love Singapore, my home and it is here where I belong.
Whenever I sing National Anthem, I have a strong feeling towards my country.
The achievements that Singapore has attained make everyone envious.
I
love Singapore for i know i can live and work harmoniously, fearlessly and efficiently with my collegues whom have a different race, religion and cultures all together.
I know i can be safe walking down the streets of Singapore any time for i know our protectors will protect us from any threats, foreign or domestic.
I
love the food here where i can enjoy sumptous food even in the wee hours of the night.
24 hours eateries are almost everywhere and so does internet access.
The wireless network has spread all over the nation and it has made convenience for me as i can access vast information from the internet on the go.
I
love the transportation in Singapore.
The vast diversified modes of transportation system are easily connected in the island to a fast-paced and convenient network way of getting around the island hassle-free.
I am proud of Singapore's Changi Airport where it has won many prestigous worldwide awards and accolades over the years.
I
love the languages that all of us communicates with. With the la, lor, huh and more. Singlish has become an unofficial national language.
I
love the education system in Singapore where it is constantly improving and has attracted students from all parts of the world to seek their education here.
It is a very important investment for Singapore government on their only natural resource "the people".

Plan an ItineraryUniquely Singapore!A one day itinerary in SingaporeTo start of the day at 10am, I will bring my foreign friends to Killiney Kopitiam to have breakfast which is located at Killiney Road.
Why Killiney Kopitiam?
It is a
uniquely Singaporean breakfast with crispsy, crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside of Kaya butter toast. A bite of the toast, the butter will slowly ooze out, as the heat from the freshly toasted bread gently melts it.
Their coffee beans are imported directly from Colombia and are roasted with a special recipe, in traditional Hainanese style. Their teas are made from top quality tea dust from Sri Lanka which they have been using since the beginnings of their shop.
Other than the toast and drinks, their eggs are soft-boiled and are smaller, fresher and tastier with a slightly bigger egg yolk. In addition, there’s also a wide diverse selection of Singaporean-style dishes such as Mee-siam, Laksa and Curry chicken.
After breakfast, I will bring them to East Coast Park which is located off the East Coast Parkway.
Why East Coast Park? 
It is the beach and landscaped terrains that makes East Coast Park a weekend favourite for Singaporeans.
Therefore, bringing my foreign friends to East Coast Park will let them experience the life-style of Singaporeans and at the same time enjoy themselves with the activities available.
East Coast Park is themed as “Recreation for All” where it offers an exciting diversity of sporting, dinning and recreational activities.
Activities include cycling, in-line skating which is available for hire. Other than these, there’s also bowling alley, golf driving range, tennis complexes, watersport centre and the East Coast Sailing Centre.
After the activities, hunger kicks in. I will bring them to try one of the “must-try” foods in Singapore and that is Chicken Rice.
I would bring them to the famous Five Stars Hainanese Chicken rice that is located at 191 East Coast Road.
Why Five Stars Hainanese Chicken Rice?It is one of the top five chicken rice stall in Singapore.
Five Stars uses Kampong chicken which is leaner, healthier and tastier. The meat of kampong chicken has a more full-bodied flavour than those of non-free-range chickens and they're less fatty. True lovers of chicken will definitely go for kampong chicken. In addition, the stall owner uses only lime juice instead of vinegar to make their Chilli. They also add chilli padi in order to put that zing in the Chilli sauce.
Next, I will bring them to take a look at The Merlion that is located adjacent to One Fullerton.
Why The Merlion?
It is one of Singapore’s icons and my foreign friends are able to take pictures of it and share it with their friends and family back in their country.
The Merlion has a lion head and a fish body resting on a crest of waves. The lion head symbolises the legend of the rediscovery of Singapura, as recorded in the "Malay Annals".
In ancient times, Singapore was known as Temasek, a Javanese word for sea. In the 11th century A.D, Prince Sang Nila Utama of the Sri Vijaya Empire rediscovered the island. When the Prince first landed on Singapore's shores, he sighted a mystical beast which he later learnt was a lion. The Prince then decided to name the island "Singapura" which in Sanskrit means Lion (Singa) City (Pura). The fish tail of the Merlion symbolises the ancient city of Temasek and represents Singapore's humble beginnings as a fishing village.
After taking pictures of The Merlion, I will bring my foreign friends to another icon that is air-conditioned and that is Esplanade.
Why Esplanade?Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay is one of the world's busiest arts centres. This architectural icon with its distinctive twin shells is sited within Singapore's civic district, just by Marina Bay at the mouth of the Singapore River. Esplanade aims to be a performing arts centre for everyone, and its programmes cater to its diverse audiences. Its programme line-up spans all genres to encompass music, dance, theatre and visual arts, with a special emphasis on Asian culture.
The unique architectural design has been said to have an appearance similar to either a durian (a tropical fruit) or the eyes of a fly. Many Singaporeans casually refer to the Esplanade as "The Durian".
Other than taking pictures of the esplanade, I can bring my foreign friends around to shop for souvenirs and have a drink if they would like to.
Dinner will be at Lau Pa Sat which is near to Raffles Place.
Why Lau Pa Sat?
Lau Pa Sat (or “old market” in the Hokkien dialect) was Singapore's first wet market that dates back over 150 years ago to the time of Sir Stamford Raffles, the founder of Singapore. It was subsequently converted into a famous gourmet paradise and has been gazetted as a national monument since 1973.
Time has not changed Singaporeans’ national obsession with street food, our love for the colourful cultures and cuisines that are its foundation: regional variations of Malay, Chinese, Indian and Nonya eats, as well as Western fare like chicken cutlets and chips, and unique flourishes like local coffee and tea – brewed in a muslin filter, foamed up not with an espresso-machine nozzle, but by being poured in sweeping arcs between two mugs.
I will recommend my foreign friends the following food that they must try at Lau Pat Sat.

I believe my foreign friends will definitely loves the spread of food in Singapore.
After dinner, I will bring them to Clarke Quay that is near the mouth of Singapore River.
Why Clarke Quay?
It is one of Singapore’s trendiest nightspots buzzing with life and activity.
Clarke Quay is a delightful mix of modern and traditional. A reminder of its rich heritage is reflected in the vibrantly orchestrated concept. Presently, there are a total of five blocks that house various restaurants and nightclubs.
Over at Clarke Quay, Happy Hour Specials on alcoholic drinks, such as beer, wine and cocktails at participating bars, pubs and clubs starts everyday from 5pm. Some of the notable nightclubs include Hooters, Cuba Libre Cafe and Bar, Lunar, Zirca Mega Club, The Arena , The Clinic, The Bellini Grande and many more.
Depending on the types of relaxation my foreign friends are interested in and we will drink our way till wee of the night.
After a night of happy hours, I believe my friends could be hungry and I will bring them to one of the famous place to have Supper and that is Geylang.
Why Geylang?It is the “underground” of Singapore where one can truly experience the other side. With the buzzing, vibrant nightlife, they can see how the “oldest trade of the world” is operated in Singapore. There are also various famous delicacies of crusine such as the famous frog porridge that originates from Geylang itself. The You Tiao King and some good dim sum is just the perfect Singaporean supper.
With the supper, I shall end my one day itinerary plan and I believe my foreign friends do enjoy the uniquely Singaporean life-style.
