Saw Cai shen Ye outside Casino..Mum and Ah Yee simply cant wait to take pic!! Haaa!

Many people who have went..commented that the interior was not a Wow Factor!!
Some said it look so fake..
Basically there are some "Bai Zhen" to ensure people like us dont win lots of money..
Every table are neatly arranged and on the ceiling there is so called an "Umbrella" above every table..
OMG!!

And guess wad??
I saw Christopher Lee & Fann Wong..
Fann Wong looked so skinny and young..I meant she dont look like she's in her 30s...
In fact, Christopher Lee went for two nights..

Remember my previous entry on Sentosa whereby the event will start on 13 Feb?

Yes!! I will be going there this Thursday for the sneak peak!!!

Valentine at The Flyer

IR Sentosa

IR Sentosa will be opened to public this 20th Jan 2010.
However, it will be only the first phase..
There will be 4 luxury hotels open up and they are...

1)Festive Hotel
2)Hard Rock Hotel Singapore
3)Crockfords Tower
4)Hotel Michael

where they offers 1,350 rooms and 10 restaurants..
I wonder how much do they charge??
Why they cant just wait till all phases are done then opens to the public???
That's because Govt is clever and they have strategies..

The government hopes the casinos will boost the country's tourism appeal and draw more visitors to the small island-republic which relies mainly on man-made attractions to entice tourists.

However, the question will pop up..

So will the public visit the first phase now??
For me, i will probably wait till the completion of project + i wanna visit Universal Studios Singapore theme park which is expected to be the biggest in the world!!!

First Victoria's Secret Store in Singapore!!!

Yes...Victoria's Secret is coming to Singapore, first in Asia!!!

The famous lingerie retailer, Victoria’s Secret will open in Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa in 2010. This is great news for the brand’s Asian fans and the news came soon after Liu Wen became the first Asian Victoria’s Secret Angel in November 2009.

Ashvin Valiram, the director of Malaysian-based retailer Valiram Group, revealed to the media that after 5 long years of negotiations, his company will finally be able to bring in the first Victoria’s Secret store in Asia to Singapore.

Victoria’s Secret’s brand ambassadors such as Sharon Stone and Orlando Bloom to grace various events is also expected. He is also open to the possibilities of hosting the famous annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show in Singapore.

Oh my!!!!!!!!!!

The Singapore online community is abuzz with excitement and many (presumably male) fans are looking forward to Victoria’s Secret coming to town.

Yesh!! Defintely i am excited!!

A trip to HortPark

As you know my dearie will no longer in F&N working..

This weekend is the last time of fully utilising his vehicle..
And how??

To bring me to places in which i wanna go..
So this morning, we went to HortPark which is highly recommended by his auntie..

It was raining.. I was like argh!! Damn it!!
However, thank god..The rain stops and we begin our excursion at HortPark!

Halloween @ Mint Museum 2009

As i mentioned.
I was invited to Mint Museum of Toys on 31/10/09 for Halloween Party!!
It was raining heavily i should say but luckily Mint Museum is just opp Raffles hotel..
So we park there and walk to the Museum..

Reached there and we were greated by the staffs and took a pic of me & dearie together + Popeye as well..Heex..
Its a paraoid instant camera..
We are able to keep the pic as a souvenir..

We start to tour around the museum after registeration..
Well, there's lucky draw...I hope i get to win some prize..Heex!

Greetings at the entrance is Astro Boy...
Oh ya, the dresscode is Toys..
But dearie say he got no shirts with toys etc..
I did asked him to dress as Astro Boy coz they kinda looked alike..
Whahaha..So this is a pose of him..

I wore a superman T-shirt..
I was thinking of renting a costume - Sailormoon
heex..But the rental was so expensive so drop the idea..
If its cheap, i sure go for it..coz my friends all know i love such thingy..
Dressing up in which every D&D my company had i would dress up to their theme..
Coz there's prize & fun!!

I think it looked awful on me so i took it down..Whahaa
Along our way, We saw Star Wars-Darth Vader..Whoohoo!

Dearie is extremely excited upon seeing..Hahaha..

The operation supervisor came to us and give us a tour of the museum..
We start at level 5-Outerspace

Astronauts..Many of them are still in working condition..
All you need is to wind them..
Wow..Working condition man!

Sir was telling us that these two pistol are very dangerous..
They need to be licenced in order to display it in the museum coz it still can fire..
Oh man!Beware!!

Many foreigners that come to the museum cant believe that the museum actually have his pyjamas..incredible collections!

Sir was telling us that this toy is still so new and most importantly the packaging(box)
will make the toy worth more if it is still around

This is the box! worth alot of $$$

For those who are aware who is Flash Gordon..
This is his first Comic book..

The only one that exist in the world..

Anyway, we are not allowed to take picture with flash light this is because showcase are all vintage toys using old paint, the flash will degrade the paint..

There are dolls everywhere..from china etc...

I was telling dearie..wad happens if they come to real in the night??

At this event i have gained more knowlege on Vintage Toys and i love the Tarot card reading especially!..

This event is a success all thanks to National Heritage Board, Mint Museum of Toys as well as Omy.sg where it gives us the youngster a very different side of museum.
