Garmin Asus Contest
Here comes the creation of G60 by the alliance of Garmin and Asus!

This phone is manufactured by Garmin, one of the world leaders in GPS technology, in collaboration with hardware maker Asus.
The Garmin-Asus alliance has develop a diverse line of easy-to-use, location-centric handset devices that offer the highest degree of quality, reliability, innovation and performance.

The G60 is a full-touchscreen device, with a large 3.55-inch anti-glare touchscreen display that is useful when you are trying to view maps under direct sunlight.
The user interface is simple and intuitive to navigate. There are only three primary icons on the screen - Call, Search and View Map - making it a straightforward affair suitable for even the most tech-phobic user.

The main reason anyone i would want this phone is because of its GPS capability and this is very obviously what the G60 excels in.
A useful feature is the "Where Am I?" function that beams out information about your current location as well as the amenities near you, such as the nearest police station, supermarket or food center.
Make no mistake, the G60 is a GPS-centric device first and mobile phone second. But like any other smartphone, it does come with your usual plate of connectivity features like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The phone also comes well-muscled in the multimedia department. It boasts a 2.5mm earphone jack and a microSD slot for additional storage if the internal memory of 4GB is not enough to meet your needs.
The integrated 3-megapixel camera with auto-focus is handy when you want to snap images on the fly.
The micro-USB slot not only lets you charge the device by plugging it into a power socket, it can also sync with Microsoft Outlook to update your contact lists and calendar events.

I simply love this phone!!!
Why???
I often find myself subjected to the inconvenience of having the need to search a location through a computer and despite street directory giving me the directions, i am still lost.
So can you imagine my surprise when I saw G60 being introduced on Nuffnang?
I was immediately drawn towards the idea of having a ‘GPS mobile phone’ that would allow me to know where exactly am i on the go without hassle! It defintely helps me especially when i am always exploring places!
In addition, I really find the primary icons very simple and attractive where it allows easy navigation.
There is also Wi-Fi where it enables me to surf net on the go.
I am looking forward to having this phone!
I simply love G60!
